Experience bird watching in Thailand's most beautiful mountain

Chiang Mai - Doi Ankhang

Leaving early from Chiang Mai, we will drive along a scenic route to Doi Chiang Dao. Along the way, we will stop at some of the recommended birding areas such as around Chiang Dao Paddy field, Chiang Dao Wildlife Research Center and Pabong Cave temple. After lunch we will drive up to the backside of Doi Ankhang Mountain, stop checking for bird along the way. After an enjoyable day's bird watching, we will check in at our resort before getting an early night in preparation for tomorrow’s early start.

Doi Ankhang

  Explore the surrounding areas of Doi Ankhang, enjoy the lunch in the Royal Agricultural Project

Early morning, we will explore around different area in Doi Ankhang, different trails such as Rhododendron trail, Heaven valey trail, at the military base, the border army camp. Lunch will be at the Royal Agricultural Project, then will spot some more birds in and around Royal Project.

Doi Ankhang – Chiang Mai

  Check out, enjoy birding in some mountainous areas, travel back to Chiang Mai

Early morning after having breakfast you will checkout from the resort and then start bird watching in the mountain area that we still not cover. Afternoon we will travel back to Chiangmai.
